Dorking Swimming Club

Minnows

Minnows are non-swimmers from the age of 3yrs above. They have half-hour lessons on Thursday evenings in the teaching pool, at Dorking Sports Centre. The lessons start at 5:30pm or 6:00pm.

Our teachers are Jaz, Dom, Fiona, Isla, Jeremy and Matt. The aim is to introduce children to swimming and water skills in an atmosphere that is friendly and fun, encouraging them to progress at their own pace while working towards badges and certificates that represent their achievement.

Once the children are able to swim 5metres they are moved up to our Shrimps Group.
