1.  When you arrive you must sign in at the registration desk which will be in the lobby at the front entrance to the sports centre (near the usual location of the club desk).  You must put a tick to confirm you wish to swim the events you entered.  If you no longer wish to swim you must put an "X" next to this event.

All swimmers MUST be signed-in by the times noted above - IF YOU DO NOT SIGN IN YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE ENTRY LIST.

2.  After you have registered please wait to be given permission to enter the changing rooms.  Please do not go in through the main turnstiles.

3.  Swimmers must use lockers wherever possible.  Do not leave bags or other belongings in the changing rooms.

4.  Swimmers are reminded that in line with the FINA regulations:
-    competitors must wear only one swimsuit in one or two pieces.
 -    swimwear for men shall not extend above the navel nor below the knee
 -    swimwear for women shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor shall extend below knee.
 -    All swimsuits shall be made from textile materials.

5.  When you are changed go to the seating area indicated for your age group.  Stewards and coaches will be on hand to answer any questions and make sure you are in the right place for your race.

6.  Swimmers should remain poolside for the duration of the meet and must tell a steward if they wish to leave their allocated seating area.  PARENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED POOLSIDE and are requested not to encourage their children to visit them in the spectator area (we don't want them to miss their race!)

7.  Medals will be available for collection on the evening.  Please remember that it takes a little while to process the results of each event and we will post results in the changing and spectator area as soon as they are available.  (They will also be posted on the website after the event).

8.  Please be aware that it becomes very slippery poolside during competitions.  Swimmers should wear non-slip poolshoes if possible (when not swimming!) and take care when moving around.  Swimmers must never to run and should take care when moving past others swimmers, officials and other poolside volunteers.

Previous information:

Entry for spectators will be £2, including programme.  Please ensure you arrive in time to register, noting the different times for Saturday and Sunday.

For those with one eye on another major sporting event taking place in South Africa we hope (but do not under any circumstances promise!) to finish the events by 8.15pm on the Saturday and by 7pm on the Sunday.

We still need more volunteers - particularly time keepers - for both nights of the competition.  These events can not be run successfully without your help so please contact Carole Chaplin via your squad rep and volunteer.

Please note that the usual minimum age for competition entry for 100m events (other than the IM) is 11 for girls and 12 for boys.  We have expanded the age groups for some events in our club championships to allow younger swimmers the opportunity to compete.  Please ensure you check which events you are eligible to enter:

100 Free and 100 IM:  Boys and Girls age 8 and over

100 Back, Breast, Fly:  Girls age 10 and over; Boys age 11 and over.

Further details will be provided on the entry form and on the club champs page
